Overview
Navaratri (literally the nine nights), a festival dedicated to the Divine Mother, is a very powerful time to effect immense transformation and bring positive change in our lives to give us the strength, composure and conviction to face our struggles headon. We will connect to the Divine Mother during this auspicious period (30th March to 7th April) and seek her abundant grace in our lives by participating remotely in powerful sacred fire ceremonies conducted in Mohanji Datta Tapovan ashram in Ganeshpuri.
This period is preceded by a solar eclipse on 29th March 2025 that provides a 1000x multiplier for any spiritual activity conducted on that day and is succeeded by Hanuman Jayanti on April 12th 2025!
Event Highlights
- The homa will be performed in the Mohanji Datta Tapovan ashram in Ganeshpuri.
- Coconut offering on behalf of the participants to burn their accumulated baggage over past lives and the present life on one or more days of Navaratri, the powerful solar eclipse on 29th March 2025 and Hanuman Jayanti on April 12th 2025.
- All proceeds from the homa will be used towards Mohanji Datta Tapovan in Ganeshpuri.
There will be no in-person participation. Remote only hence nothing to do except to register and provide details

FAQs
“Non-residential” means the package doesn’t include overnight accommodation. Participants need to make their own lodging arrangements in Varanasi.
Gurulight has been organizing spiritual pilgrimages for several years, with a focus on authentic and profound spiritual experiences. Our team is well-versed with Varanasi’s spiritual landscape.
Our package includes lunch. However, participants will need to arrange their own breakfast and dinner.
Yes, transportation costs from Diamond Hotel to various pilgrimage spots mentioned in the itinerary are covered.
Safety is our priority. If the boat ride is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, alternative spiritual activities will be arranged.
The Pitrupaksh Pooja and Annadhan are optional and are not included in the INR 24,999.00 package price.
It’s recommended to carry a small backpack, comfortable footwear, modest attire suitable for temple visits, a water bottle, and personal essentials. A detailed list will be provided upon booking.

Cancellations made 15 days before the pilgrimage date will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations made less than 15 days before the date will not be eligible for a refund.
